OUR STORY

Ink Angel Tattoo studio was founded in 2012 by the original Ink Angel - Gayle. It had always been a dream of hers to open her own tattoo studio one day, after falling in love with art at a young age and then working in several tattoo studios before starting the Ink Angel project.

Together with her brother Kyle, who took ownership of the studio in 2023, Ink angel quickly established themselves as one of the most reputable tattoo studios in South Shields.

Now, after moving from their first location on Fowler Street to a more accomodating studio just around the corner, the Ink Angel family has grew exponentially. Taking on and training apprentices to become excellent tattoos in their own right, like Sinead and Chloe, as well as welcoming established local tattooists in Luke and Laura who bring their own particular set of expertise to the studio.

However, without our loyal and lovely clients, we wouldn't be where we are today. And it is because of them that we keep pushing forward to deliver service with a smile and tattoos to show off.
